Full-color pieces can make an eye-catching difference. By simply adding color, you can give your current newsletter or brochure an entirely new look and attract a greater audience, ultimately, increasing growth for your company.

Printing has been our specialty for more than 25 years. As with all of our work, we focus on results -- our customers' results, which is clearly evident in our client case studies listed below.

POWER OF THE PRINTED WORD: CASE STUDIES

Fiesta Bravo: A Diversified Approach to Effective Advertising Campaigns

Background: Fiesta Bravo, a local Mexican restaurant, was seeking ways to attract business on one of the year's busiest dining days - Valentine's Day.

Challenge: Maximize sales during the busiest dining day of the year -- Valentine's Day.

Solution: Offer several special menu items for that particular day. An underlying promotion was to inform consumers of the "new quality" and "diversity" of the menu selections. The Gallaher Group designed a series of internal and external promotions:

  • Newspaper Advertisements
  • Point-of-purchase displays
  • Back-lit signage
  • Table tents
  • Discount coupons

The Gallaher Group performed ALL phases of the advertising campaign, including writing, photography, design and printing, thereby enabling a smooth and successful execution of this critical advertising campaign.

Results: The restaurant met its sales goal, and the event led to the development of similar promotions throughout the year.

St. Claire's Hospice: News You Can Use

Background: For several years, St. Claire Hospice had been utilizing a quarterly newsletter to inform its constituents of happenings with the organization. After time, the newsletter began to get "stale."

Challenges:

  • Make the newsletter more appealing
  • Allow space for the listing of donor names
  • Create a "template" design that could be easily and quickly formatted
  • Retain a dignified format in keeping with the subject matter
  • Retain and update the mailing list

Solutions:

  • Utilize four-color to attract greater reader attention, making the newsletter more appealing
  • Change the name of the newsletter to better reflect the organization's mission
  • Add variety with an "odd" sized newsletter
  • Create visual interest with oversized photos
  • Chose a coated stock, which would enhance photos and printing
  • Opt for a bi-annual publication
  • Review the current mailing list with the National Change of Address service for accuracy, ensuring an up-to-date mailing list

Results: St. Claire's Hospice chose to implement all the solutions, resulting in an attractive, full-color piece, which was created at a cost less than previously spent on the newsletter. The final piece is appealing and informational, has a dignified format, and is consistently sent to the right individuals through the updated mailing list, thereby increasing the satisfaction of the readers and reducing the distribution and production costs of the St. Claire's Hospice newsletter.

Southern Ohio Medical Center: Getting Noticed in a Crowd

Background: Physicians typically are inundated with sales materials from various companies, so what can you do to create a piece that they actually will read?

Challenge: Find a way for busy physicians to take notice and time to read information regarding the opening of a new Sleep Center at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Solution: It's all in the packaging. To create visual interest and "incentive" for physicians to read our materials, we opted for a specialized presentation box, complete with a gift. The clear lids on the box, allowed for visual interest, giving a "teaser" of what was inside. The box contained detailed informational sheets explaining the new service, testing order pads, and fittingly - an alarm with the SOMC logo. The boxes were hand-delivered to select physicians, who were most likely to refer patients to the service.

Results: Initial response has been excellent. Numerous referrals have been credited to those physicians who first learned of the service via the gift box.
